From Sugar loaf, we drove to Corcovado and took a bus to the top to see the Cristo Redentor statue.
It was pretty amazing. The view from the top is a sweeping panorama of Rio including the urban jungle and the tropical rainforest.
We enjoyed a little Brazilian snack as we waited for our Nascar racing bus driver to take us back down. This guy was really funny. At the beginning of our trip, he convinced us his bus was a better route to the top versus the train that had extremely long lines. The train would cause "too much suffering", he told us.
He took those sharp mountain curves on the way up going what felt like 70 MPH in a 15 passenger van. Upon his late arrival for our return trip, he cautioned us against getting mad at him lest he would drive us back down "with emotion".

And here's one more just because I love this picture Dori took.
