Some things will wait
Since we're just a couple days off, I changed my calendar to September. It's one of those wooden ones that you have to rearrange the dates each month. I figured it's about time. It's clear when our lives most recently became a bit more chaotic. When you have a new baby, certain things just seem to take a back seat. This is obviously one of them.Sunday, August 27, 2006
The Jersey Shore
Yesterday we took a trip to the Jersey Shore- just to see it. It was overcast and rainy, but a fun day trip all the same. Quite a different atmosphere than our Southern California beaches, but so nice and absolutely beautiful.

We used to take pictures of ourselves like this when we were in high school. We took this one again just for fun a few months ago. I really just wanted to put this picture in my profile, but I had put it in a blog first to use it. So here we are.

Home at Last
After our 3 month adventure in California for Matt's summer internship, we have at last returned to New Jersey. Although we had a great time driving to CA back in May, we opted to fly home and ship our van back. No doubt we turned a few heads as we navigated through the airport with our 3 kids, 14 bags, 3 car seats, and double strolller. It's good to be home.
