On the days she's not in preschool, I love having my little Lydia around to keep me company. We have so much fun, and are taking adavantage of our time with just the girls. I feel like this is a precious little window of time she and I have. I love it.
Earlier this week after running errands together, we stopped at our cute little local dessert boutique, Ooh La La, for a chocolate eclair. This place is really not such a good thing for me these days, especially with the all to convienent drive-thru window they have...I went back again today. I think they know my by name now. Summer Activities
Aside from the moving and trips, we managed to keep ourselves pretty busy here in Texas.
I suppose the trade off of having to endure Texas in the summer is the pretty darn cool pools, waterslides and activities our community offers. The Beach Club is our favorite, with the fun and sand of the beach without the drive and the headache. The paddle boats are a pretty big highlight too.

Preschool
It was Back to School for Lydia this year as well. She has been so excited, and absolutely LOVES it.
I have to admit, it was a little weird that first day to be ALL alone for five hours on the middle of a weekday, but I'm quickly getting over that taking advantage of my two days a week all to myself for the next few weeks before the baby is born!

off the grid
So, we survived the summer and are back full swing into school routines and preparing for a baby who's ETA is rapidly approaching. The boys started school at the end of August and I really thought I'd have all kinds of time to catch up on things, but honestly, I don't know where those 7 hours go each day. So here I am, almost 3 weeks later, finally getting around to coming back to life on the internet.
