Now don't confuse these pictures with those from the set of LOST, but we kept feeling like we ought to be watching out for "the others" while we were hiking through the jungle today.
It was quite the hike climbing the mossy, rocky terrain and making our way though the trees and across the river to the base with 3 kids in tow.
It was worth it. The waterfall was beautiful.
Don't let the photos fool you- there were only steps and hand rails for maybe 1/4 of the hike. Those are the only pictures we have because it was the only time we had enough hands and balance to actually get the camera out. The other 3/4 of the hike we were holding on to the kids and rocks for dear life!

I have never in my life even thought about hiking in a rainforest - it is now officially on my list. Minus 3 small kids in tow.
