Just in case you were wondering, it is possible to make banana bread without the use of measuring cups or spoons, a mixer, a bread pan, or baking soda.
We just did. Ethan and I made Shar's Banana Bread tonight. Ethan loves to help me cook and tonight he wanted banana bread. I had major doubts about it considering my lack of cooking tools and ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm fine tuning my measurement guessing and ingredient substituting skills and we baked it in a casserole dish so it was more like Banana Cake, but it was pretty good! We also added some chopped up chocolate kisses because everything is a little better with chocolate. And really, this recipe is awesome.
(Thanks Shar, for posting it online! I'm still waiting for my recipe books to arrive in our shipment!)

banana bread always goes right! good choice and nice job! this was one of my first recipes that i tried too...and it too, worked! yeah for food!
keep on cooking and maybe try your neighbors for recipes...just learn the words for "do you have any recipes I can use?" and then have your tutor do the translation :)during your lesson.
I'll have to try the recipe...I'm always looking for something better! Thanks to your friend Shar
Wow, I just made banana bread this weekend, too, and I wasn't the least bit grateful for cups, spoons, a pan, or baking soda. My eyes have been opened...
Look at you! I hope it tasted great!
I'm envious of your summer weather down there!
Ethan is totally 150% Glauser. He just looks like a mini Jeremy to me!
