I can't believe my baby girl is not really my baby girl anymore.
of having a birthay
during a move
in our family is
getting to celebrate
on multiple occasions.

official 2nd birthday today by swimming in the pool, taking a nap, and going grocery shopping to buy a cake and some pretty pink flowers.

We also celebrated two weeks ago at our hotel in California just to be sure she got a proper birthay celebration (in case things were totally crazy this first week in Brazil) and so she could open her presents (and have something to play with at the hotel).

Happily, things are going well
and we didn't forget her birthday, so she did indeed get two celebrations and two chocolate birthday cakes!
She loves her new
Cabbage Patch baby, and the pink & brown boots the boys gave her. She wore them everywhere (at least for that week until we got here where it's too hot to wear anything but sandals!)
We love you, Lou!

Happy Birthday, Lydia!
Cami saw the photo of you at the beach & asked who that little person is -- you're getting so big she didn't recognize you! (She'd also be jealous of your boots if she saw them .)
Happy Birthday girlfriend. We miss you.

boy, Lydia is looking moer and more like Ethan these days. GIve her her a hug from us.
Except for a twinge of Garrett and Ethan every now and then it is like looking at pictures of you growing up all over again. How can she be two?
