follow up on this week's posts

Ethan loves The Mom Song. The last two days he's asked to listen to it over and over again and will sit at the computer for a solid 30 minutes watching it on repeat. At first I thought he just likes William Tell Overture. After all, he is our music guy.
.
But then today on the way to pick up Garrett from school, he started singing, "Stop crying or I'll give you something real to cry about" and "you're grounded until your 36" . My favorite was when he sang the part "don't forget, I love you, (kiss)" , tilting his head to the side on the kiss part. As funny as it was to hear his rendition, it got me a little concerned that he'd sing those lines at preschool or to someone other than myself which might raise some concern about my parenting...
.
Also, Garrett took the tomato eating caterpillar to school today to show his teacher. She asked if they could keep it for a science discussion. I was happy to oblige.

I LOVE that song. I laughed so hard when I heard it. She was actually on Good Morning America a day or two ago. She's so well known now that I wouldn't worry too much about what people think. Besides, it's got to be pretty darn cute when he's singing it.

He must get his musical-ness, because that is totally a word, from his Grandma Kathleen. She was SO musical!

That's great that the teacher wanted to keep the gross bug. I would have been MORE than happy also!

I love it! I am so impressed. Any way of getting him singing on video-he could be the next You-Tube sensation.

I am eating chicken in peanut sauce from Pad Thai. Wish you were here to share it.

You what's been stuck in my head? "Were you born in a barn? Would you like some hay?" I am just biding my time until I get to use that choice one (and I'm sure I'll get to any moment).
